Privacy policy

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.
What we collect
- Order details: name, email, phone and delivery address, collected by Stripe at checkout.
- Hire requests: name, email, phone, dates and any notes you add.
- Newsletter: your email address, when you consented, and where you signed up.
- Reviews and messages: the name, email and text you submit.
- Accounts (optional): your first name, email and a securely hashed password. We never store your password itself.
How we use it
To fulfil orders and hires, answer messages, publish reviews you submit (first name only), and send the newsletter if you subscribed. We don't sell or rent your information.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie for accounts and the admin area, and your browser stores your cart. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Access, correction and deletion
Email hello@famwithacaravan.com.au to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
